A silky yet explosive two-footed player that thrives in all attacking positions, Nickolas is a versatile high tempo type player who possesses a unique combination of athleticism and infectious leadership through his fearless all action style over 90 minutes a great character who is loved by team mates "Nico" is no doubt an elite 2004 talent on and off the pitch.

Having played football since the tender age of 6, Nickolas already has an impressive portfolio that includes being part of Ginga Soccer Academy since 2015, participating in the 2016 Ibercup in Estoril Portugal, Quarter-Finalists of the 2016 Ontario Cup in Windsor, and Champions of the 2016 LIKA Cup in Milton Ontario.

Many top coaches who have witnessed Linares this pre-season still see him a raw talent with a massive upside. In his short time at Athlete Institute he has already demonstrated that he has the hunger to meet and exceed expectations that are required of him.
