ORANGEVILLE, ON - The Academy 2019 competitive season is in safe hands with the signing of goalkeeper Joshua Bondoc (class of 2022).

The Scarborough, Ontario resident brings strong experience and a top level skill set between the sticks. Agile and mobile with great distribution, his communication level is also a standout bringing relevant information to his team in front of him at all times. Bondoc brings highlight reel shot stopping ability almost every time out which will be of great reassurance to what is shaping up to be one the best defensive cores in the region.

A top level student (who carries an 89.1% gpa) Josh is no stranger to finding success in various competitions on the North American landscape, having won multiple championships highlighted by back to back Erie Premier Cups as well as a 2018 championship in the prestigious Manhattan Cup.

Overseas he has had training stints with globally recognized Feyenoord Rotterdam as well as competing in the Iber Cup, Portugal playing against top sides such as Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon.

Athlete Institute welcomes a key component to our campus, who no doubt will continue to make great strides in his development while continuing to chisel a name for himself at the top of his peer class.
